Plenty to do and see in Ontario’s Waterloo Region

What a great kick off to Oktoberfest today’s show was! For those of you who have been enticed to visit this fantastic area, there are plenty of things to see and do in the Kitchener-Waterloo region all year long.

For outdoor enthusiasts the Grand River runs 280 kilometres all the way through the Waterloo Region from its source in Wareham, Ontario to Lake Erie. 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the Grand’s designation as a Canadian Heritage River. There are walking and cycling trails all along the river, but it is perhaps best known for fly fishing and canoeing.
