Kitchener cycling shop gets national honour

Ziggy’s Cycle and Sports Ltd. at 417 King St. W. beat out nominations from across the country for the award from the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada.

Tech Triangle‘s insight:

The head of the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada said the partnerships with the City of Kitchener and its support for a long list of charity rides made Ziggy’s stand out from its competitors.

“If you meet the owner of the store, you can tell her passion for what they do and their commitment to their community,” said Bill Yetman of the trade association.

“We have some amazing small independent bike retailers across the country and Ziggy’s is right up there in terms of its commitment to the industry and its commitment to the community,” Yetman said. “They really get it.”
