WATERLOO – Canada’s Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics announced the schedule for BrainSTEM: Your Future Is Now Festival. From Sept. 30 to Oct. 6, this one-of-a-kind scientific celebration will connect the public with the latest and most intriguing technological innovations through a series of hands-on exhibits, lectures, events, and tours.
The Perimeter Institute is also pleased to announce a series of fascinating public lectures delivered by three renowned experts at the forefront of science and education:
- Lucy Hawking, daughter of theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking and author of the series of George Books
- James Grime, British mathematician and renowned expert on WWII codebreaker Alan Turing and the Enigma Machine
- Raymond Laflamme, founding member of the Perimeter Institute and Executive Director of the University of Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing.
