Waterloo startups helping bridge local food processors’ technology gap | Smart Shift | Executive | Financial Post

A new initiative brokered by the City of Waterloo will see the region’s tech startups develop technology that will allow area food processors to become more efficient and, in turn, more globally competitive.

“The world around us is changing; the borders are opening up and we as an industry need to compete,” says Mr. Huber. “The best way to do that is with technology, and we have the knowledge and expertise right here to tap into it.”
