Season’s Greetings and Thank You…

Anne Lukin

Season’s greetings have been pouring into the CTT office, by email or graced with an old-school stamp and mailed.  All these tangible reminders of our partners, friends and colleagues are a great reason to pause and say thanks. The CTT Inc team is lucky, and we know it.  We live and work in a great community. We have lots to talk about in our work to promote Waterloo Region to the outside world.

One of the key facets we promote is this region’s inclination for collaboration.  Collaboration may just be a fancy word for playing together nicely in the sandbox, but we play with vision and enthusiasm. We saw many great examples of community-wide partnerships at work in 2009.  From the creation of the promising Kwartzlab space to the launch of what will become the spectacular Communitech Hub: Digital Media & Mobile Accelerator, partnerships have brought together new possibilities and new resources.  Through the Prosperity Council’s Creative Enterprise initiative, we looked for new ways to nurture arts & culture in the region.  CTT Inc and many others successfully advocated to bring the FedDev Ontario office to Waterloo Region.

For CTT Inc, our federal, regional, municipal and corporate partners not only contribute crucial funding, but also work us to inform and impress visiting investment clients and influencers.  Our sponsors helped us pull off stellar events in 2009.  We receive thoughtful, pragmatic support from our Board and Advisory members, and corporate and community partners.

As 2009 draws to a close, I want to say thank you.  The people and companies who helped CTT Inc through formal partnership and sponsorship are listed below.  There just isn’t space available here to thank everyone who helped our work. If you’re reading this blog, you’re likely a CTT supporter, so “picture your name here”.  We look forward to working with you in 2010 and beyond.  All the best to you and yours, from here in Canada’s Technology Triangle.
